What are your operating hours?
Our hours vary, depending on season. Current Waterpark hours can be found on our Museum/Waterpark Hours and Admission page. The Waterpark and the Museum are closed on Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Do you sell season passes to the Waterpark?
Yes, Waterpark 3, 6, and 12-month Boarding Passes are available for purchase. For more information about our Boarding Pass purchase options, click to go to our Boarding Pass page.
Do you sell gift cards to the Museum and Waterpark?
Yes, we sell gift cards in any denomination—the gift card is usable in any area of the Evergreen Museum campus, including the Waterpark. Gift cards are better than tickets: they do not expire, they are trackable and can be replaced if lost. Unfortunately we are not yet able to sell gift cards online; to order a gift card, please call 503-434-4185 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
How do we find Evergreen Wings & Waves?
Wings & Waves is located off Highway 18 east of McMinnville, across from the McMinnville airport. We are approximately one hour from downtown Portland, 40 minutes from Salem, and one hour from Lincoln City. Click here for driving directions.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Wings & Waves accepts cash and all major credit cards at the park. Checks are only accepted for reserved groups and birthday parties.
Do you have an ATM?
Wings & Waves does not have an ATM on site.

Do you have discounts?
Present your military I.D. when purchasing admission and receive a $5 off admission discount for up to four people at the Waterpark and get into the Museum for free, up to 4 people. Tickets to movies are just $5 per person. We thank you for your service.
Groups of 15+ people can receive the group rate of $22/person for the Waterpark and can get into the Museums for discounted rates starting at $16 per person. Registration and pre-payment required by calling the office at 503-434-4185
If you have AAA you can receive a $5 off admission discount for up to four (4) people in the Waterpark and $4 off admission for up to four (4) people in the Museum. Just present your AAA card when purchasing admission at the Waterpark.
We offer $4 off entrance to the Museum for all Veterans up to four (4) people and $5 off the Waterpark addmision up to four (4) people. We thank you for your service.
What is the water temperature?
Pools are set at 84 degrees and the spa is set at 102. The interior of the park is set to 85 degrees.
Do I still have to pay if I don’t get in the water?
Yes, however guests can pay the Dry Pass if they don’t want to use the water attractions. Some chaperone allowances are made for special groups. Please note: Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by a supervising adult while in the Waterpark. Children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by a swimming adult while in the water. Swimming adults are required to pay full admission. Adults may supervise a maximum of 4 children (1:4 adult to child ratio).
Can we bring our own food and drink into the park?
Food, beverages and coolers may not be brought inside the park. We have a variety of food options available at our Milky Way Cafe, inside of the Waterpark. You’re also welcome to pack your own picnic to enjoy in our picnic area located in our Oak Grove. Please pack a cooler to leave in your car until you’re ready to eat. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted anywhere on Museum campus grounds.
What is Wings &Waves lifejacket policy?
You can bring in your own lifejackets, as long as they are U.S. Coast Guard-approved. Wings & Waves also has life jackets available at no charge. Swimsuits with built-in floatation devices are not allowed on some attractions.
For improved safety in the wave pool, Wings & Waves STRONGLY RECOMMENDS all guests under 48″ wear a lifejacket. We also recommend that parents keep their children within arms reach during all water activities. We strongly recommend all guests under 48″ or who are weak or non-swimmers wear lifejackets where appropriate.
What type of training do Wings & Waves lifeguards receive?
To ensure guest safety and satisfaction, Evergreen Wings & Waves Waterpark has partnered with Jeff Ellis & Associates, a consulting firm specializing in aquatics staff training. You may see Wings & Waves lifeguards conducting drills while the Waterpark is open. If you have any questions feel free to contact a park manager.
Can I leave the park and get back in?
All guests leaving the park and planning to return later that day must be wearing their Waterpark wristband upon re-entry.
What can we wear on the water slides?
Appropriate swimwear is required, and subject to park approval. Denim, cut-offs, bikini thongs, or swimwear with exposed zippers, buckles, rivets or metal ornamentation are not permitted. For rider safety you may carry sunglasses and water shoes down the slides, but not wear them. Swimsuits with built-in floatation devices are not allowed on some attractions. Swim diapers are required for children who aren’t potty trained. Swim diapers are available for purchase.
What are the height requirements for the rides?
For the safety of our guests, certain rides have height requirements: 42 inches for all inner tube slides and 48 inches for the body slide. On the Aquaplay (play structure), the Green slide’s height requirement is 36 inches, and the Orange and Yellow slides are 40 inches.
How much does it cost to rent a locker?
Lockers range from $5-7 depending on the size: $5 for small, $6 for medium, and $7 for large-sized lockers. Our lockers provide you with all day, unlimited access to your belongings.
What about my glasses?
We recommend you hold your glasses in your hand when you go down the slides.
Can I wear water shoes or sandals on the attractions?
You can wear water shoes or sandals to walk around the park, but for your safety you will be asked to hold them in your hand when you go down the slides. Water shoes or sandals can catch on the slide on your way down, causing possible injury.
Is there a tube rental fee?
All tubes required for the water slides are free of charge.
Is there a fee to park?
All Wings & Waves parking is free of charge.
Do you provide towels?
Wings & Waves does not provide towels, however, they are available for purchase in the gift shop if you happen to forget yours.
Can I bring my dog?
With the exception of service animals, no pets are allowed in the Waterpark. For your pet’s safety, please don’t leave them in your vehicle, RV, or tied up on Evergreen property.
Does Wings & Waves have a Lost & Found?
Yes, however, due to the volume of unclaimed items Wings & Waves only keeps items for 6 days. After 7 days, all unclaimed items are discarded. If you believe you have may have lost an item please contact the Safety Office at 503-687-2464.
Is the Waterpark wheelchair accessible?
Wings & Waves Waterpark meets all ADA guidelines. The wave pool area is wheelchair accessible. The leisure pool is accessible via a mechanical hoist. The spa is accessible via a transfer platform. Waterslide access requires guests to utilize stairs. Waterpark wheelchairs are for emergency use only. An elevator is located in the Waterpark for access to the Café and second floor. All bathrooms and locker rooms are wheelchair accessible. Please note the Waterpark is wet and may be slippery. Please use caution while in the Waterpark.
The Waterpark offers several fun, interactive and educational activities and exhibits. The H2O Hands-On Science Center, “Life Needs Water,” provides 20 exhibits where guests can learn how to create water pressure, sail a ship or explore an interactive submarine. These activities are hands-on, for guests with vision loss. There are also educational, informative signs at the exhibits for those who are deaf.
Trained and certified lifeguards are staffed in the Waterpark at all times. U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets are available for guest use.
